Harvest-Racing Trek

Harvest Racing-Trek elite cycling team is recruiting!

Based in the Omaha area, Harvest Racing supports junior and under-23 cyclists who train and compete in local, regional, and national road, cyclocross, gravel, and mountain-bike events. Over the years, our riders have been on the podium and/or won multiple state and age group national championships in road, mountain bike and cyclocross. Our teammates promote local races, provide coaching and mentoring for juniors, and support the local cycling community by providing staffing events.

Team membership requires community outreach and volunteerism as well as racing. Each year, we ask all of our team members to contribute 12 hours of community service in cycling events that our team partners with, including staffing a weekly bike corral at a locals farmer’s market, safely leading and mentoring weekly group rides, putting on clinics and staffing local mountain bike, gravel and cyclocross races. Harvest is known for being an active club beyond simply donning matching spandex for a Saturday group ride.

In return for our cycling advocacy, we have a strong list of sponsors who want to partner with us. The local Trek store, SRAM, Capo cycling gear, and Bergman Incentives provides discounts and often the lowest pricing for high-end gear as a benefit for our team.

Juniors get all of the above plus one free kit and a race fee reimbursement program provided by the team.

Harvest Racing competes in all ages, men and women, and have some 500+ years of racing experience to use in mentoring junior and U23 riders. We take pride in our racing experience, share our knowledge in group discussions, group rides, and in clinics while obeying the rules of the road.

If you would like to join us, please drop us a line at info@harvestracing.org. Tell us a little bit about your previous cycling experience, especially in terms of any volunteerism or cycling advocacy you have done. In addition, tell us about your your upcoming year and beyond—where will the bike take you? How will you make roads and trails safer and more accessible for everyone in your community next year?

Thanks for taking the time to consider Harvest Racing. We will look forward to hearing from you.
